Little Egret
In the estuary this evening, from the Imperial Rec and Mudbank - the Ridgway's Cackling Goose, 6 Pale-bellied Brent Goose, 1 adult Black Brant and c700+ Dark-bellied Brent Goose. Also an estimated 1000+ Wigeon, 40+ Turnstone and 5 Dunlin. A couple Rock Pipits were the first I've seen for a while and there was an adult Mediterranean Gull on Warren View this morning.
The Black Brant was finally added to the house list yesterday but it can be a real pain to pick out from the flock of Brents.
